Job summary

Cardinal Point Homeland Security Group is seeking a security officer for a school-site assignment with a Monday to Friday schedule, 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM. Occasional after-school or weekend events may occur, and crossover assignments during school breaks are possible based on availability and performance.

You will patrol entrances and common areas, assist with visitor management, and identify potential issues early.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Active cell phone and reliable email access.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and student-appropriate demeanor.
• Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing.
• Willingness to complete all required K-12 clearances and training.
• Ability to walk up to 10,000 steps and stand for extended periods.
• No disqualifying criminal convictions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the school.
