Educational Sites -The Educational Security Officer ensures efficient and professional security operations at schools within the appointed region. This position is a working level Security Officer who actively works onsite, securing school’s buildings/properties, school staff, and students, as well as locating and deterring suspicious activities while providing a safe and secure learning environment for all campus personnel. The school Security Officer is held to a high standard of physical and mental capabilities to ensure the students, parents, and staff are protected.

• Work to ensure the assigned premises and/or people are kept safe and secure
  
• Work closely and cooperatively with staff at assigned premises to ensure they are safe and secure
  
• React and respond quickly to dangerous/hazardous situations
  
• Monitor assigned location with high degree of attentiveness to surroundings
  
• Communicate effectively to site team using assigned radio
  
• Identify and correct inefficiencies, liabilities, and safety hazards at work sites
