Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Unarmed Customer Service Patrol Driver in Birmingham, AL. You will monitor and safeguard clients across healthcare locations, delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible security presence during shifts.

The position is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $16.75 per hour. Eligible candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be 18 or older, and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions, access control, and escort requests.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken.
