Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in Birmingham, AL. You will monitor and protect patients, visitors, and staff, support access control, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances and emergencies calmly and professionally, contacting hospital personnel or responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and report unusual conditions or violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly per Allied Universal requirements.
