Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Newark, DE. This role offers fixed hours with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, at a pay rate of $19.57 per hour.

The schedule includes DayTime and Saturday shifts, with a six-month anchor commitment at a designated site, and a pathway to grow into more hours across sites. Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and documentation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and completed patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
