Responsibilities

• The Security Guard watches and patrols hospital grounds and property to defend against damage, theft, or harm. Duties are performed unarmed.
• Walks or drives around premises to insure building or post security.
• Maintains a lookout at exits to guard against theft and inspects IDs for restricted areas.
• Reports unusual activities to supervisor or responsible person and follows guidelines for observing and reporting incidents.
