Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Professional to perform hospital security patrols, manage access points, and assist in patient and staff safety. The role emphasizes de-escalation, accurate reporting, and adherence to client procedures in a healthcare environment.

Qualified candidates will have a CA Guard Card and a valid CA driver’s license, plus a minimum of two years in customer service or protective services. Drug screening may be required for safety-sensitive work.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CA Guard Card with training certificates.
• Must have a valid CA Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Minimum two years of verifiable customer service or protective service experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or by vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restrain can be necessary per policy.
• Transport patients to the morgue when required.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to ER as needed.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies and events.
• Sound alarms or notify authorities in case of incidents.
• Monitor entrances/exits and ensure only authorized access.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and maintain logs.
