Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Protective Services Officer in Virginia to support internal and external safety at BSMH facilities. You will respond to routine and emergency calls, participate in investigations, and be assigned to an area for pager/ radio communications.

The role requires minimum safety credentials and strong observation skills. Responsibilities include escorts, patrols, documentary logging, and enforcing facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protects patients, visitors and employees by providing escorts and patrolling grounds.
• Deters criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property including parking areas.
• Enforces policies (parking, visitation, drug, tobacco).
• Monitors activity via closed-circuit television and escalates as needed.
• Intervenes in confrontations and documents all duties performed.
