Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Lithia Springs, GA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a logistics and distribution location, providing a visible presence to deter incidents and support access control.

You will deliver excellent customer service and clear communication while upholding a welcoming environment. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, and a day-to-day schedule includes night shifts across multiple days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and report suspicious activity, facility concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
