Qualifications

• 1+ year of security-related experience required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Criminal histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
