Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Lithia Springs, GA. You will patrol a distribution facility, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while enforcing site policies.

Role requires security experience, badge/access control knowledge, and the ability to work a split schedule. Pay is $15 per hour with a flexible, shift-based program to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use technology to document activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
