Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Potomac, MD. This role focuses on patrolling hotel and resort locations, ensuring guest and staff safety, and providing exceptional service.

A valid driver’s license is required, with opportunities to use our Shift-claim platform to adjust hours. As a driver-patrol officer, you will balance security duties with customer service, monitoring access, and reporting incidents promptly to leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort grounds, guest areas, event spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.
