Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an ultrasound technologist for the Lehigh Valley Hospital–Macungie facility. The role involves performing ultrasound and vascular exams, producing diagnostic images for radiologist review, and participating in ongoing education to maintain high standards of patient care.

The position requires completion of a CAHEA-approved program and ARDMS certification, with strong emphasis on patient safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a busy hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of approved CAHEA school of diagnostic medical sonography or certification program.
• In good standing with the ARDMS.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths/weaknesses of solutions.
• Ability to assess performance to make improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Performs ultrasound and vascular exams according to physician specifications and established protocols.
• Produces diagnostic images and prepares them for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains and updates equipment parameters in coordination with radiologists.
• Participates in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.
