Job summary

CoxHealth's Cox Monett Ultrasound Department is seeking a qualified ultrasound technologist to perform imaging procedures, ensuring patient welfare and accuracy of exams. The role requires completing an approved sonography program and ARDMS/ARRT certification within 3 months of hire.

The position is based in Monett, MO, with daytime shifts and 36 hours per week, offering competitive benefits including sign-on and relocation options.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of medical sonography.
• Experience may be substituted for education requirement.
• One year ultrasound experience required, or no experience with education completed.
• Preferred: two years dedicated sonography imaging experience.
• ARDMS/ARRT certification/registration required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound/sonography procedures per established care standards.
• Follow policies and protocols to produce optimal imaging while ensuring patient welfare and confidentiality.
• Use proper anatomical positioning to acquire high-quality images.
• Work independently or with physicians to support diagnostic needs.
