Job summary

Cox Monett Hospital is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist to independently perform ultrasound/sonography procedures using established standards and techniques. The role emphasizes patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort while producing high-quality imaging.

Successful candidates will have graduation from an approved school of medical sonography and certification verification within 3 months of hire. Experience is preferred, with front-line responsibility to support a busy ultrasound

Qualifications

• Graduate or graduation eligible from an approved school of medical sonography.
• One year dedicated ultrasound experience OR no experience required with fulfillment of education requirement.
• Proof of passing ARDMS or ARRT examination; verification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound/sonography procedures following established standards using proper anatomical positioning and physiology.
• Keeps patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort as a top priority.
