Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound/sonography procedures at the Martin Center in Springfield, Missouri. You will follow established protocols to produce optimum imaging while prioritizing patient welfare and confidentiality.

Under supervision of a physician and with ARDMS/ARRT certification, you will work independently or in teams to support accurate diagnoses and patient care across CoxHealth’s network of hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound/sonography procedures following established standards of care.
• Maintain patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort during imaging.
• Adhere to department policies and protocols to produce optimum imaging.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to ensure accurate diagnoses.
