Job summary

CoxHealth’s Ferrell Duncan Clinic in Springfield, MO seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with independent judgment and patient care. You will adjust technical factors for optimal results and work under physician guidance for a range of exams.

Excellent candidates will have ARDMS/ARRT certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate or graduation eligible in medical sonography; completion with clinical competencies required.
• 1 year of dedicated ultrasound experience required, or no experience if education requirements are fulfilled.
• Preferred: two years of dedicated sonography imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and patient care with independent judgment.
• Adjust technical factors to produce optimum diagnostic results.
• Operate under physician direction for diagnostic and interventional exams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
