Job summary

Medical City Denton seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform quality ultrasound procedures in a patient-centered environment. This role involves following physician orders, maintaining safety and documentation, and participating in call/holiday coverage.

The ideal candidate has RDMS eligibility or certification and BLS, with commitment to ongoing competency and department initiatives. Weekend day shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred
• Must be RDMS registered/eligible in Abdomen or Ob/Gyn within 6 months of hire; if not certified, obtain within 1 year
• BLS certification by HCA approved vendor
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Performs quality Ultrasound procedures per physician orders
• Maintains quality patient care and customer service
• Participates in call/holiday coverage
• Maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures
• Participates in equipment QC and documentation
• Practices radiation safety
• Contributes to department initiatives
