Job summary

Medical City Denton seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform quality ultrasound procedures in a patient-centered environment. This role involves following physician orders, maintaining safety and documentation, and participating in call/holiday coverage.

The ideal candidate has RDMS eligibility or certification and BLS, with commitment to ongoing competency and department initiatives. Weekend day shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred
• Must be RDMS registered/eligible in Abdomen or Ob/Gyn within 6 months of hire; if not certified, obtain within 1 year
• BLS certification by HCA approved vendor
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality Ultrasound procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer at least 1 year experience
• Must be registered/eligible by R.D.M.S. in at least one of the following: Abdomen, Ob/Gyn within 6 month of hire. Additionally, the associate must be registered/eligible by R.D.M.S (RVT) or (RVS) by C.C.I. If associate does not hold advanced certification, associate shall obtain within 1 year of hire/promotion or completion of training program.
• BLS certified by HCA approved vendor.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
