Job summary

Pride Health in Houston is seeking a qualified vascular ultrasound technologist for a local contract position. You will perform venous and arterial studies, operate ultrasound equipment, and document findings to support patient care teams.

Primary duties include collaborating with physicians, following clinical protocols, and traveling to other sites as needed. Candidates should have RVT or RVS certification and a current BLS credential, with 2+ years in vascular ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in vascular ultrasound.
• At least 1 year of cumulative experience in venous sonography.
• Required certification: RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist).
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience performing venous and/or arterial vascular studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations, including venous and arterial studies.
• Conduct venous sonography to evaluate blood flow and identify vascular abnormalities.
• Assist with therapeutic procedures in the Vein Clinic, as required.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
• Document examination findings and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and the cardiology team to support patient care.
• Follow established clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
• Travel to another location if required by operational needs.

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

Location: Houston, TX 77057

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 3 months (with possible extension or conversion)

Pay Range: $50 to $53.00/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience,expertise, credentialing, and education.
