Pay Range: $17to $19/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens safely and accurately.


• Provide professional, courteous service to patients throughout the collection process.


• Work with patients across different age groups, including geriatric patients; pediatric experience is preferred but not required.


• Register patients as they arrive and verify relevant patient information.


• Process and prepare specimens according to established procedures.


• Ensure specimens are properly handled, labeled, and prepared for laboratory testing.


• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.


• Follow established safety, quality, and infection-control procedures.


• Maintain patient confidentiality and a professional work environment.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
