New York Imaging (NYI) is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in urology to join our outpatient imaging team in Brooklyn/Manhattan. You will perform ultrasound exams, prepare impressions, and coordinate with urologists while ensuring equipment reliability and patient safety.

Qualifications include ARDMS certification, 2+ years of experience, and a degree in a related field. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
• ARDMS (AB) certification required.
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Urology ultrasound experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting.
• Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists.
• Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance.
• Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited.
• Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.
• Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.

Job Description

Ultrasound Technologist - Urology

Location: Brooklyn/Manhattan, NY

Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts, Monday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm)

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

In This Role, You Will

• Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including, renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting
• Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists
