Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital in Arkansas is seeking a part-time Ultrasound support role for students enrolled in an accredited radiology program. You will work under qualified supervision to perform ultrasound procedures and related tasks within the Ultrasound Department.

Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and ensuring safety and quality control. Enrolled students gain hands-on experience while assisting with routine ultrasound duties and room prep under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures directly supervised by qualified/licensed AC team members.
• Performs and ensures safe, age-appropriate clinical work for the department as needed.
• Completes documentation of patient records and Quality Control processes as needed.
• Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns as needed.
• May transport patients to other departments.
• May assist with holding/positioning patients as needed.
• May prepare and clean exam rooms.
• Provides comfort measures as needed.
• Utilizes appropriate diagnostic equipment and software as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
