Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist in Sebring, FL to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in a fast-paced radiology department. The role requires adherence to protocols, accurate documentation, and excellent patient interaction.

The candidate will operate imaging equipment, coordinate with radiologists, and maintain room readiness while upholding infection control and safety standards. PRN schedule and night-weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics, cross-sectional and vascular anatomy, and Doppler techniques to perform independently.
• Strong computer skills including EMR and PACS; basic Office suite knowledge.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills across all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtain clinical history.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort, privacy, and cooperation.
