AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams as required by physician orders. You will verify patient identity, obtain relevant clinical history, and ensure comfort and privacy throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation in EMR/PACS and collaboration with radiologists to ensure optimal image quality. This role requires infection control adherence and the ability to work across age groups in

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy to perform independent procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret provider orders and correlate with clinical history.
• Proficient in using Radiology software and PACS for image management.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per provider orders.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness; collects clinical history prior to scanning.
• Positions patients and equipment to acquire optimal images and waveforms.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Explains procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and privacy.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and follows infection control protocols.
