Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• RDMS or ARRTR radiography certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality ultrasound images of patients following established scanning protocols.
• Manages ultrasound equipment and recognizes significant diagnostic information; uses independent judgment in complex situations.
• Performs computer operations (Meditech and PACS); ensures proper charges and orders are verified.
• Renders patient care in a professional manner and maintains room cleanliness.
• Assists with examination room preparation and inventory management.
• Assists radiology staff with injections, biopsies, and other patient care tasks.
• Reviews exams for technical accuracy and completes verification in PACS.
• Assists with PACS cleanup and archiving.
• Completes and maintains educational requirements.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and patient information.
