Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to perform a variety of imaging procedures and support quality patient care in a diagnostic setting. The role includes documenting exams in Meditech and verifying images in PACS, with emphasis on adhering to physician orders and quality control.

Qualified candidates graduate from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, are ARDMS eligible or registered within six months, and have current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months.
• BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Follow physician orders, document the exam in Meditech, scan and verify images in PACS.
• Follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
