Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to support diagnostic imaging across multiple exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies. The role emphasizes maintaining equipment, assisting physicians with procedures, and upholding safety and quality control standards.

Qualifications include ARDMS/ARRT credentials and an associates degree or higher. Two years of full-time ultrasound experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in ultrasound procedures across abdominal, OB/GYN, venous Doppler, small parts, pediatrics if applicable
• Two years ultrasound experience preferred but not required
• Must hold ARDMS/ARRT or RVT/RVS credentials as applicable

Responsibilities

• Maintain ultrasound department supplies and equipment
• Assist physicians in ultrasound-guided biopsies and invasive procedures
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Ensure proper scheduling and documentation in radiology systems
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and safety policies
• Train/mentor new staff and students
