Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) within 6 months of employment start date.
• Graduation from an AMA-Approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT preferred.
• 1–2 years radiology/imaging experience preferred.
• Specific ultrasound experience and training required.
• Certificate or High School Diploma/GED within 7 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and ensure exam protocols provide diagnostic information.
• Maintain knowledge of life-saving techniques and perform under pressure.
• Lead and mentor student technologists by introducing ultrasound basics.
• Assess and provide age-appropriate care for all patients served.
• Demonstrate ability to obtain and interpret information according to patient needs.
