Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to join our compassionate radiology team. You will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and assist with exam protocols to provide diagnostic information for physicians.

The role requires RDMS certification and Basic Life Support within 7 days of start. You will contribute to patient-centered care across ages, supporting students and colleagues while upholding our care like family philosophy.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) required

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and contribute to exam protocols to provide diagnostic information to the interpreting physician.
• Maintain working knowledge of life-saving techniques and perform well under pressure.
• Be responsible for specified examinations and assist in introducing ultrasound basics to student technologists.
• Assist in assessment and care appropriate to all ages of patients served.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting information based on patient needs.
