Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a certified ultrasound professional to perform ultrasound exams, including Doppler, under the Radiology leadership. The role requires ARDMS credentials and strong patient care in a high-volume acute care setting.

You will contribute to quality imaging, comply with regulatory standards, and maintain collaboration with radiology staff, clinicians, and administration to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Fingerprint required.
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty.
• Associate Degree.
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RDMS-OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound imaging procedures and Doppler imaging to aid diagnosis.
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely and maintains standards.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and maintains professional relationships.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiology Director and Radiology Operations Supervisor, performs those duties directly involved with a variety of Ultrasound imaging procedures and applying high frequency wound waves to provide static, real time, and doppler images/wave forms of the internal human anatomy to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and pathology. Ultrasound exams are dependent upon the quality of images produced which is relative to the skill of the sonographer. Is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Carries out policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory bodies. Operates the equipment used to produce optimal images. Operates equipment safely and maintains standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the A.R. D.M.S. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
