Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. in Smyrna, TN is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures ordered by physicians.

You will contribute to quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include executing ultrasound exams and portable studies, documenting results in Meditech and verifying images in PACS, following quality controls, and maintaining accurate patient history records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months.
• BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Accurately document exam completion in Meditech and verify images in PACS.
• Follow procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment.
• Demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.

• You will accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scans document and verify images in PACS.

• **You will follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.**

• **You will demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.**

**What qualifications you will need:**
