Job summary

BayCare Health System at South Florida Baptist Hospital seeks an Ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic sonography and support imaging patient care. Responsibilities include RIS data management, file room and clerical duties, physician assistance, and patient transport, with on-call and occasional weekend duties.

Qualified candidates will have an Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent, plus BLS, RDMS and ARRT credentials.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound-specific education or equivalent experience.
• Credential requirements include BLS, RDMS and ARRT.
• Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonographic procedures.
• Manage RIS data and imaging records.
• Assist physicians and transport patients as needed.
• Handle file room, clerical tasks and housekeeping duties.

Summary:

Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures.. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
