Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonographic procedures and support imaging patient care. The role includes RIS data management, file room operations, and general clerical tasks to ensure efficient departmental workflow.

Responsibilities also involve physician assistance, housekeeping support, and patient transportation as needed. The position may be PRN with on-site hours, requiring compliance with safety and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• RDMS (Sonography) credential is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) credential is required.
• Education: Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent experience.

• Assist physicians and manage RIS data and related clerical tasks.

Summary:

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic procedures in accordance with established clinical and safety standards. This role is responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, including radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room operations, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, housekeeping support, patient transportation, and other related responsibilities necessary to ensure efficient and effective departmental workflow.
