Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound and non-invasive vascular examinations, using RIS/PACS and maintaining quality standards. The role emphasizes patient assessment, teaching, and collaboration within the radiology team.

The position requires an Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (or higher) and active ARDMS vascular registration, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
• BLS certification and ARDMS vascular registry required; additional specialties preferred.
• Experience in Radiology/Ultrasound setting and continuing education encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Performs Ultrasound examinations as established in the Radiology/Ultrasound Procedure Guide.
• Provides ongoing patient assessment and documents findings.
• Assists in teaching and guiding colleagues.
• Supports quality monitoring and ensures compliance with hospital standards.
• Ensures equipment performance and quality control for optimal images.
• Maintains Continuing Education and relevant certifications.
• Coordinates communication within radiology team and participates in committees.
• Manages supply inventory and RIS/PACS usage.
