The successful candidate will hold or be within 120 days of ARDMS/RVT registry, with BLS certification due shortly after hire, and prior experience as a Sonographer is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS and/or RVT registration must be obtained within 120 days of graduation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire date.
• Recent experience as a Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principals and utilizes appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develops/provides procedure/treatment plans.
• Implements procedure plans according to hospital protocols and guidelines.
• Completes documentation to comply with hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe condition for patients and staff.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure high standards of care.
• Completes assigned goals.
