Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging to assess blood vessels and related conditions. You will operate ultrasound equipment, provide high-quality images, and deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with clinicians, and adherence to imaging protocols. This is a PRN/part-time opportunity with daytime hours, requiring ARDMS RVT or equivalent certification and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Sonography program with required clinical hours, or on-the-job training with a registered preceptor.
• ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS or ARRT RVS, or registry eligible (within 6 months).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound imaging and assess blood vessels.
