Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography, maintain equipment, and provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a state license, DMS program graduation, and ARDMS/ARRT certification with BLS. Prior imaging experience is preferred. Eligible candidates will join a team committed to community health and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current State License in good standing.
• Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program.
• ARDMS certification or eligibility and meet credentialing requirements.
• ARRT or DMS Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician.
• Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean and orderly work area.
• Notifies supervisor of needed items and maintains equipment for accuracy.
• Provides age-appropriate care to all patients.
• Acts as a physician/staff consultant and educational resource for scans.
