Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join Rutherford Regional Health System on a PRN basis. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality ultrasound studies across abdominal, OB, vascular and small parts, supporting radiologists in diagnostic care.

The position requires a DMS program graduate, ARRT or DMS certification, and a current BLS. Prior experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a patient-focused network.

Qualifications

• Current State License in good standing
• Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program
• ARRT or DMS Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• one year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides quality ultrasound studies to include abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvis, breast, and testicular small parts for use by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness.

Skills

Current State License in good standing

ARRT or DMS Certification

BLS Certification

One year of experience preferred

Education

Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS)
