Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist for the MMP1 ultrasound screener. The role is PRN Monday through Saturday, first shift, with a pay range of $42.00 hourly.

The position involves supporting Radiologists, verifying orders, and maintaining equipment and records. Qualified candidates are ARDMS or ARRT(S) certified, with a preferred ultrasound program graduate and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S) required.
• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders for assigned patients.
• Assists Radiologist in invasive procedures.
• Evaluates exam quality and develops efficient techniques.
• Operates radiology computer system for entering and charging exams.
• Maintains neat, stocked work area and adheres to department rules.
