Job summary

Advocate Health Cabarrus Ultrasound in Harrisburg is seeking a part-time ultrasound technologist to prioritize and coordinate exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians. You will perform ultrasound exams, operate equipment proficiently, and provide patient care per departmental standards.

The role includes night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a pay range of $35.50 to $53.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program required in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and coordinates ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians.
• Performs ultrasound exams in accordance to departmental protocols and standards.
• Operates ultrasound and associated equipment with proficiency.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
