Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging in North Garland, TX is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center. You will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensure patient safety, and deliver an exceptional patient experience.

The role requires graduates of an accredited Sonography program and ARDMS/RVT/OB/GYN certifications, state licensure, and preferably a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification required.
• State licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., general, vascular, OB/GYN as applicable) in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the exam.
• Recognize and document anatomical, pathological, and technical factors to produce high-quality images.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification

State licensure as required

Current BLS certification preferred
