Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound at our Fort Worth outpatient imaging center. You will ensure patient safety, comfort and high-quality imaging while delivering exceptional care.

The role involves general, vascular, and OB/GYN imaging as applicable, with a focus on accurate results and patient experience. Competitive pay, monthly bonuses, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• RVT/ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification required.
• State licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., general, vascular, OB/GYN as applicable) in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the exam.
• Recognize and document anatomical, pathological, and technical factors to produce high-quality images.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.

Position Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., general, vascular, OB/GYN as applicable) in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the exam
• Recognize and document anatomical, pathological, and technical factors to produce high-quality images
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification required
• State licensure as required
• Current BLS certification preferred
