Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, verify patient information, and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.

The role requires detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics, strong communication with patients and radiologists, and the ability to document findings clearly in EMR/PACS. Night shift and on-site responsibilities at a Colorado facility are included.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills across age groups.
• Ability to learn Radiology software and PACS; adapt to department protocols.
• Demonstrates safety with imaging procedures and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtain clinical history.
• Position patients and equipment to acquire optimal images and data.
• Document findings accurately in EMR and PACS; ensure timely reporting.
