AMI has an exciting opportunity available for Ultrasound School Graduates & New Technologists! Our New Graduate Training Program offers comprehensive, hands-on scanning experience across multiple specialties, including but not limited to:

  • General
  • Abdomen
  • Vascular & Advanced Vascular
  • Breast
  • OBGYN
  • Small Parts & MSK

Post-Training Responsibilities
  • Perform all requested ultrasonographic exams according to established policies and schedules
  • Review patient requests for diagnostic procedures, noting anatomical parts and clinical history
  • Instruct patients on procedures while respecting their privacy
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is in excellent operational condition following Quality Control procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Schedule

This full-time position involves a 40-hour workweek, primarily during the day, with evenings and rotating weekends. Possible schedules include five 8-hour days or four days with two 12-hour and two 8-hour shifts, including rotating weekends. Training and coverage will be provided across AMI offices in Hammonton, Sicklerville, and Deptford, with some coverage in Somerdale and Mays Landing. Schedules may change based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
  • ARDMS certification with at least one registry prior to employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross prior to starting
  • Knowledge of ultrasound procedures including venous insufficiencies, arterial duplex, PVR/ABI, vein mapping, dialysis access evaluation, and abdominal duplex exams
  • Exposure to ultrasound systems and equipment during clinical rotations
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality images and documentation
  • Professionalism and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
