  • Perform requested ultrasonographic exams as per policy.

AMI has an exciting opportunity available for Ultrasound School Graduates & New Technologists! AMI's New Graduate Training Program provides you with comprehensive, hands-on scanning experience in multiple specialties, including, but not limited to:

  • General
  • Abdomen
  • Vascular & Advanced Vascular
  • Breast
  • OBGYN
  • Small Parts & MSK

Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.

Following the successful completion of the Ultrasound New Graduate Training Program, you will be able to:

  • Performall requested ultrasonographic exams in accordance with established policy and as per established hours of availability;
  • Reviewall patient requests for diagnostic procedures as to designated anatomical part and clinical history;
  • Instructpatients regarding procedures and respects patient privacy at all times;
  • Ensurethat the ultrasound equipment is in excellent operational condition as per established Quality Control procedures; and
  • Performother duties as required and assigned.

This full time, 40 hour per week position includes primarily days with evenings and rotating weekends. Potential schedules include a five (5) day workweek with eight (8) hour shifts and a four (4) day workweek with two (2) twelve (12) and two (2) eight (8) hour shifts. The schedule includes rotating weekends. This position will receive training and provide coverage in the AMI offices in Galloway and Manahawkin. Some training and coverage may be provided in the Egg Harbor Township and Hammonton offices. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
  • Certified by ARDMS with at least one (1) registry prior to start.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Lift Support (BLS) certification required prior to the start of employment.
  • Knowledge of all Ultrasound procedures including, but not limited to, Venous Insufficiencies, Arterial Duplex (Upper/Lower Exts), PVR/Segmental/ABI (Upper/Lower Exts), Pre-op Vein Mapping (Upper/Lower Exts), Dialysis access evaluation and Abdominal duplex exams.
  • Knowledge, familiarity, and exposure during past clinical rotations to Ultrasound operations,including diagnostic medical ultrasound systems and equipment.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to produce high quality images and provide documentation accurately and precisely.
  • Ability to exercise high standards of professionalism and teamwork.
  • Ability to work well, multitask and prioritize effectively in a high volume fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving, decision making and communication skills.
