Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures for patients across all ages, under radiologist supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient-focused care, and teamwork within a fast-growing department.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited Sonography program, 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience, ARDMS certification, and BLS. New hires require AHA certification prior to orientation and will join a supportive radiology team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Sonography program.
• 2 years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.
• ARDMS certification in at least one specialty.
• BLS Certification (Healthcare Provider) required.
• New hires must have AHA certification prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provide high-quality care for patients from neonatal to geriatric.
• Produce diagnostic ultrasound images in accordance with department protocols under supervision of a Radiologist.
• Interact with patients, physicians and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
