Qualifications include completion of an accredited Sonography program, ARDMS certification in at least one specialty, and BLS. Two years of ultrasound experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Sonography program.
• 2 years clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
• ARDMS certification in at least one specialty required.
• BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required.
• Additional RDMS certification recommended if department is ACR accredited.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provides high quality care for patients from neonatal to geriatric.
• Produces diagnostic ultrasound images under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Interacts with patients, physicians and staff in a professional, friendly manner.
