Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform routine and interventional sonography under radiologist supervision. You will participate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with safety and infection control guidelines.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification, vascular registration and at least one year of hospital experience in sonography, including biopsies, with a strong focus on patient care and

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography.
• Current ARDMS/ARRT certification in good standing.
• Registered in vascular and two of OB/Gyn, Abdomen or Breast.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• One year hospital experience in medical sonography including biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and interventional sonography procedures.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities.
• Comply with safety, infection control, and accreditation guidelines.
• Operate sonographic equipment and perform invasive procedures as required.
