Job summary

Lee's Summit Medical Center seeks an Ultrasound Technologist II PRN to perform routine and interventional sonography procedures under the direction of the Radiologist. You will participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety guidelines.

Required are ARDMS or ARRT registration, vascular certification, and hospital sonography experience including biopsies. The role supports a comprehensive imaging program and patient-centered care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current ARDMS/ARRT registration in good standing.
• Must be registered in vascular and at least two of OB/Gyn, Abdomen or Breast.
• One year hospital sonography experience including biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and interventional sonography procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities.
• Comply with safety, infection control and regulatory guidelines.
